Hi all,

We are doing Personal Media Player(PMP) project for advertisement.
I've furnished the technical aspect of our project

Processor: AU1250 @700MHZ

SYSTEM BUS FREQUENCY: 232MHZ

TOUCH PANEL:SHANZEN TOUCH(WM9712L controlled)

RTOS: WINCE5.0

When we touch the screen, mouse pointer does not move.Sometimes it moves
irrespective of the target place. And we've also noticed that the touch
driver software returns invalid sample co-ordinates corresponding to the
touch place.

The touch screen is working fine when we bring down the processor frequency
to 400MHZ and system bus frequency to 198MHZ.

I'll be thanful if any one replies what is the reason behind the issue.

Hi Karthikeyan,

could be that you need to wait a little while longer to stabilize when you
accquire the values from your HW.

Mobile Phone Touch Panel

Our company has spent two years on the research and development of the Capacitive Touch Panel, and has a breakthrough in those technology. We has also developed multi-touch Touch Panel, which has been put into production in June, 2009.

We do OEM for multi-touch Touch Panel with a minimum quantity of 20,000pcs. We offer the whole Capacitive Touch Panel including Capacitive controller chip and the relevant support software.

The dividers for the clock used to commuication with the WM9712 are based
upon the System clock. The frequency divider for the AC97 bit clock will
need to be changed when the system clock is changed in order to maintain the
correct frequency for the Wolfson part.
Actually that is a wild guess as RMI have put the Au1250 spec under NDA and
I cannot find my copy right now.

Hi,
I first thank to you. In our design ,the bit clock(12.288MHZ) used for AC97
communication is derived form the WM9712L. It is the primary clock which
operates the PSC1 module in the processor(AU1250).
We 've a constraint that we shouldn't change the master clock(24.576MHZ)
frequency of the WM9712L.
Can you please say how the incresing of the system clock would affect the
AC-Link communication?
I've also included below your last reply and my actual issue for your glance.

W 've been iformed that WM9712L will work fine at 700MHZ cpu frequency by the wolfson technical supports
