Hello all,
I am experiencing some kind of networking collision on a WIN CE 6.0 system, between a statically conigured LAN ip address (SMSC91181) and an address received using a dial-up connection (TELIT864) via the HAYES COMPATIBLE ON COM1.
The problem is that as soon as I physically connect the LAN cable, the telit dial-up loses it's connectivity, and it appears that all of the traffic is routed to the LAN. here is an IPCONFIG of the interfaces:
Pocket CMD v 6.00
\> ipconfig
Windows IP configuration
Ethernet adapter [SMSC91181]:
IP Address ........ : 192.168.30.204
Subnet Mask ....... : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway ... : 192.168.30.1
Ethernet adapter [HAYES COMPATIBLE ON COM1:]:
IP Address ........ : 91.135.107.24
Subnet Mask ....... : 255.0.0.0
Default Gateway ... : 91.135.107.24
DNS Servers........ : 10.170.9.73
10.170.9.74
127.0.0.1
If the LAN cable is disconnected again, the telit IP resuemes operability.
By the way the dial up does not prevent the LAN from working, only the other way around.
Does anyone have any idea what could cause this?
Thanks,
Elad
